What is VoiceMemoir?

VoiceMemoir turns your voice recordings into a written memoir. You answer questions by talking, an AI transcribes and drafts each story in your voice, and over time the stories assemble into a coherent book you can print or share.

Who is it for?

Anyone with a life story worth keeping - parents, grandparents, veterans, immigrants, couples, executives, athletes, teachers, chefs, musicians, farmers, community elders, and organizations (senior living, hospice, libraries, museums, veterans groups, tribal nations).

Do I have to write anything?

No. You just talk. The AI handles the writing, and you review and approve each draft.

What does it cost?

Free tier gives you 5 story sessions to try it. The Story plan is a one-time $99 for 50 sessions plus digital book export. The Legacy plan is a one-time $199 for unlimited sessions, AI narrative assembly, 1 printed hardcover, and family collaboration. Institutional pricing starts at $5/resident/month.

Does the AI sound like AI?

That's the problem we set out to solve. VoiceMemoir builds a voice profile for each user from your corrections and feedback. The more drafts you review, the more the output sounds like how you actually talk - not generic AI prose.

What languages are supported?

English, Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Korean, Arabic, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Hindi, Polish, Ukrainian, Farsi, Thai, Burmese, Khmer, Hmong, Somali, Amharic, and Swahili. Record in whichever language you're most comfortable in.

Can I share access with family?

Yes, on the Legacy plan. Invite family members to listen, comment on, and contribute their own memories alongside yours.

What about privacy?

Your stories are yours. We don't train AI models on your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect, how it's stored, and how to delete it.

What happens to the audio?

Your audio is transcribed and stored in an encrypted, access-controlled Backblaze B2 bucket so you can re-listen or re-transcribe later. You can delete audio at any time from your account settings.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

Review every draft before approving. The AI can hallucinate or misattribute - that's why a human (you) is in the loop. See our AI Content Disclaimer.

Can I cancel or refund?

Paid tiers are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. See our Terms of Service for refund policy.

How do I get a printed book?

Legacy plan includes one hardcover printed and shipped by our fulfillment partner (Lulu). Digital PDF and ePub exports are included on Story and Legacy plans.
